Mine to Kill

Mine to Kill is a feature film currently in pre-production. It is an existential thriller: the story of Geoffrey Kendle, a 28-year-old creative director at an advertising agency in Manhattan, who late on a warm August night happens upon a woman in distress on the side of a desolate road in Upstate New York. The encounter sets in motion a series of events that leads to an attempt being made on Geoffrey’s life, forcing Geoffrey to go into hiding in a small fishing village in Maine. For reasons that are ambiguous, yet not indiscernible, Geoffrey chooses to stay in the village for months until circumstances again violently conspire to force him to leave, and he decides the only way he can continue to live is by killing his pursuer.

The script was written by Jeff Kinkle and James Kendi and was a finalist at the 2011 Sundance Screenwriters Lab.
