The Rest Is Silence
London / Stockholm based artist Emanuel Almborg and theorist Jeff Kinkle will present The Rest Is Silence (Konst & Teknik Art Press), a book which deals with the history and legends around an experimental building project. The scene is set in Hackney’s derelict lot in the late 1970s while the origin of the project by a group of residents is shrouded in mystery. For the release, Almborg and Kinkle will stage a conversation that sets out to explore the unknown reasons behind the building project.

I just finished a film together with Jeremy Deller. The film is based on interviews that we made with a selection of people that participated in his project “It is what its is: conversations about Iraq” that was on display at the New Museum New York. Read more here
